The Campus Ministry of Saint John’s Church provides a safe,
non-judgmental space on campus that allows students of Smith
College to explore what it means to be a Christian in today’s
world. We are present on campus in a number of ways:

Informal Weekly Activities
We meet for dinner every Thursday at 6:00 PM at various places on
campus and throughout town. We discuss everything from
relationships, current events and religious topics that are
relevant in your life. The conversation is never dull and there
is always plenty of food. Come join us!
Partnering
with Student Organizations
We know the value of partnering with others. We provide
space, help with on-campus advertising, and even co-sponsor
events. In the past we have co-sponsored G.A.A.P.E.'s (Global
Action Against Poverty Everywhere!) candlelight vigil held last
fall as well as the Disparities Conference held in the spring
semester.
Midnight
Breakfasts
We know how challenging finals week can be so we provide
sustenance and a place to hang out and relax during finals. We
originated the midnight breakfast on the campus of Smith College
and often welcome over three hundred students. Come on down and
load up on pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit, pastries, and lots
and lots of coffee and fellowship!
Weekly Worship Services
Smith Students participate fully in the life of St. John's on a
variety of levels. Do you want to learn about God but aren't
really sure which church or community you can plug into? Our
worship services are open to everyone regardless of your
religious affiliation. You can find our weekly worship schedule
here.
Just
Drop In!
St. John's is regularly open for prayer on weekdays. Perhaps you
have had a hectic week and just want to take a moment out to
unwind and connect. Just look for our sign and know you can just
drop in anytime you need to.
Special Activities We also host other special
events during the year. Keep a look out for our on-campus
advertisements. These are a sample from last year.
